Types of Gardens

This is supposed to be about types of gardens, but a brief google search will show you what I am talking about is styles of gardens. Or, maybe not. Maybe it is all perspective. So far, I have found 3 types of gardens, one of which isn't a garden but a food forest. A food forest is an ecosystem that uses what is planted to protect and the plants works together in symbiosis. Greenhouses are places where the plants shelter from the elements. Often, they are in pots and separate from the Earth. the final type of community garden is your traditional garden with plants planted in the ground, shade-cloth used for protection and reticulation.

I acknowledge the Whadjuk People of the Noongar nation who are the Traditional Custodians of the land, sea and air that I live, study and work on. I also acknowledge the Yamatji People who are the Traditional Custodians of my birthplace. I give, with a willing soul, due regard to all Indigenous Peoples across the globe and all Elders past, present and future. Furthermore, I recognise the inherent value of Indigenous connection to country and Indigenous spiritual belief systems. First Nations People occupied Australia prior to colonisation. No white law will ever change that.
